One of the most enjoyable roles of the Estonian Museum Association is the recognition of colleagues.\u00a0<\/strong>In co-operation with the at the Cultural Heritage Board <\/b>and the Cultural Endowment of Estonia<\/strong>, we present Museum Rats, the Estonian Annual Museum Awards.<\/p>\n

The Annual Museum Awards competition aims to praise and thank the best museum professionals and highlight the various aspects of museum work to the public. The award is issued once a year in ten categories.<\/p>\n

The award categories are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Museum Collection Developer<\/li>\n
  • Conservation Work<\/li>\n
  • Promoter of Museum Education<\/li>\n
  • Research Publication<\/li>\n
  • Research Conference<\/li>\n
  • Temporary Exhibition<\/li>\n
  • Permanent Exhibition (is awarded every other year)<\/li>\n
  • Museum Developer<\/li>\n
  • Friend of the Community<\/li>\n
  • Museum Marketer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
